MS-Pro Chassis, Basic's 3 by Reggie Chong

The next step is to complete the center chassis. Set aside the MS-L chassis, 4 copper terminals and the on/off switch.

Insert the on/off switch and terminals into the chassis like the pictures below. Making sure the cornered edge of the terminals are seated in the slots of the chassis.

Set aside the dual shaft motor, 2 pinion gears ( white or purple ) and the pinion cap. The pinion inst a a big necessity but it helps give you a perfect flush fit without the risk of damaging the pinion or the motor shaft by pressing the pinion in on a flat surface. Just place pinion into the pinion cap and press it onto the shaft. Repeat for both ends.

Set aside the 2 motor mounts.

Place both ends like the picture below. Note the direction of the motor cap in relation to the motor mounts.

Now you can mount the motor assembly into the center chassis. Note the direction of the motor cap in relation to the chassis. Slide the motor contacts side into the center of the chassis and push the other end in. It should go in with a soft snap if nothing is wrong.

Now set aside the gear cover, 2 counter gears ( in this case green because i'm using the 3:5:1 ratio ), 2 counter gear shafts and the battery clip.

Take the center chassis that has the motor mounted and put in the counter gears with the gear shafts. Not the direction of the gear in relation to the motor cap.

Now slide in the gear cover with the arrow on the gear cover and the arrow on chassis lined up. Then just push down on the front and it should snap into place. Sometimes the copper terminals may get in the way. Just re-seat the terminals and it should go in just fine. Then just take the battery clip and clip it onto place.
